Are You A Book Booster?

Want to support your favorite cozy writers?
Here’s how to be a book booster:

Here’s the reality: good reviews help authors sell books, bad reviews (less than four stars on a five star scale) hurt authors’ sales no matter what else the review says. We’d never ask anyone to post a fake review, and since we hope you’ve become a book booster because you liked a book, we’d be grateful if you posted a good, or great, or spectacular review, but only if you honestly feel the book deserves it. There is almost no better way to "boost" the book and the author.
Here are some ways to be a book booster:
  • Write and post a review (even a short "I really enjoyed this book! Can't wait for the next book in the series." works well) on Amazon.com, Barnesandnoble.com, and/or Goodreads.
  • Review or mention the book on your Facebook page, blog, or Twitter. Feel free to include a book cover image (you can copy one from the author website or an online bookstore site.)
  • Ask your local library to order the book. It's a good idea to have the book's ISBN number with you when you make the request.  You can find the book's ISBN number on the book's Amazon or Barnes and Noble page online.
  • Recommend the book to your book club.
  • Order extra copies as gifts for friends and family.
  • Sign up for newsletters and purchase the author's next book.

Thanks so much to all my readers. I couldn't do it without you!
